A few months ago I stopped weighing myself…
Having gone through a strict and intense competition prep, I got used to measuring things down to a T and weighing myself ALOT. Whilst this is neccessary in ‘prep life’ it certainly isn’t a healthy way to go through day to day life.
Earlier this year I decided to start a lean down, and my body wasn’t responding very well, plus I started to get really bad anxiety every morning as soon as I woke up.
After a lot of stressful days, confusion about why I was feeling anxious, and very little progress… I realised that my elevated anxiety was due to the unrealistic pressure I was putting on myself and because I had started weighing myself EVERYDAY. That’s not cool.
