How long does it take for something to become a habit?
You know when you decide to stop biting your nails or go for a run every day and you do it for a week and then motivation starts to slip and you think that it won’t hurt to miss just one day and you’ll run twice as far tomorrow to make up for it and before you know it, the daily habit of that run after dinner is a dim and distant memory?
How long do you think you have to do something for every day before it becomes a habit, and what are the best habits that will help you on your entrepreneurial journey?
I don’t know if I have the answer to the first part of that question because I think it’s different for everyone – some people seem to take to things quicker than others. But I do know it’s really important to keep going and to not give up just because something is difficult.
Even when you really don’t want to do something, if you have made that commitment to yourself then its really important to follow through.
Having coached many business owners over the past few years, I’ve come up with my own list of the top 5 habits the most successful have and I want to share them here with you.
